Product Parameters

Hot-dip galvanized steel PPGI

Hot-dip galvanized sheet steel is primarily used as the base. Thanks to the protective zinc layer and organic coating, it has a longer service life than hot-dip galvanized steel. The permitted zinc layer thickness is 275 g/m².

Electro-galvanized steel PPGI

Electrogalvanized sheet was used as the base. Because the zinc layer on electrogalvanized sheet is thin, typically 20 g/m², its corrosion resistance is lower than that of hot-dip galvanized sheet. Therefore, this product is not suitable for the construction of external walls and roofs. However, it has an attractive appearance and excellent performance characteristics, and is primarily used in the manufacture of household appliances, steel furniture, interior items, etc.

Surface treatment

Clearly, this processing method reliably protects coiled steel during storage and transportation.

Embossing

PPGI coiled steel is embossed in a variety of patterns. Popular patterns include stucco, diamonds, and others. Customization is also possible. Compared to smooth coiled steel, it offers a vibrant 3D effect.

Type of coating

In roll coating, the role of durability is played by resin and pigment. The most commonly used coatings are polyester, silicone-modified polyester, high-strength polyester and polyvinylidene fluoride.

Good adhesion, rich color, wide formability range and outdoor durability, moderate chemical resistance, low cost.
Silicone-modified polyester SMP
The coating has good hardness, wear resistance and heat resistance; in addition, it has good external strength and powder resistance, gloss retention, overall flexibility and moderate cost.
High-strength polyester HDP
Excellent color fastness and UV resistance, excellent outdoor durability and chalking resistance, good film adhesion, rich color, excellent cost performance. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)
Excellent color fastness and UV resistance, excellent outdoor durability and chalking resistance, excellent solvent resistance, good formability, stain resistance, limited color gamut and high cost.
